Despite the abundance of body-switch-themed Kdramas, Miss Night and Day goes the extra mile by adding a twist.
The story is a heartfelt series about Lee Mi-Jin (Jung Eun-Ji), a 20-something, single woman who has struggled to find a stable job for eight years. Mi-Jin lives with her parents, Lim Chung (Jung Young-Joo) and Lee Hak-Chan (Jung Suk Yong).
While waiting for her chance to apply for her dream job, Mi-Jin does odd jobs. This also helps her broaden her experience and gain important life skills.
After losing the chance to land her dream job, Mi-Jin wakes up in the body of a woman in her 50s. Although she’s still Mi-Jin, others do not believe who she is. As dusk falls, however, she is brought back to her young self.
With no clue on how to fix her situation, Mi-Jin finds a way to balance her life. She lands an intern role at the Seohan District Public Prosecutors’ Office under the guise of Lim Sun (Lee Jung-Eun), her aunt who has been missing for years.
As luck would have it, she finds herself being an assistant of smart, handsome, yet cold Prosecutor Gye Ji-Ung (Choi Jin-Hyuk). Their fate seems to be intertwined, however, as the series continues to unveil the fabrics that bond them together.
