Popcornicle started as a concept in 2012. Back then, I invited a colleague of mine to write reviews of movies we had seen. But because we were busy with our careers, we weren’t able to focus on the blog. Even though the blog never flourished, I was able to write a few reviews and opinion pieces on our Blogspot account.
In 2022, I was able to land a job as an SEO TV and Movie Writer, where I mostly wrote about TV shows on streaming platforms. After a year, my focus turned to Kdrama shows, True Crime/Docuseries, and Reality TV. I was able to learn new tips and tricks until I finally felt confident enough to dedicate some time for Popcornicle. I was also interested in practicing my SEO and Content Strategy knowledge, which is what this site is for.
The first step was to get a real domain and not a Blogger-hosted site. The rest… is history… in the making.
I hope you guys get to enjoy the queries and opinion pieces I share on Popcornicle. I’m just your ordinary internet sleuth, hoping to turn this site into something big one day and I hope that you guys support it.
